1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne,
high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him
were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces,
with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they
were calling to one another: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory." 4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the
temple was filled with smoke. 5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I
live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the
LORD Almighty." 6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he
had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said,
"See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin
atoned for." 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who
will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" 9 He said, "Go and tell this people: " 'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' 10 Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. [a
] Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed." 11 Then I said, "For how long, O Lord?" And he answered: "Until the cities lie ruined and without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged, 12 until the LORD has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken. 13 And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land."
 
Our idols are crumbling beneath our feet. We have been prodigal sons and daughters far too long.
If God's Spirit is stirring in your heart today turn toward Him.
Jesus is the hope that you have been searching for.
His promises can be trusted.
He is the rock upon which your life should rest.
All other ground is sinking sand.

The Bible references sin quite a bit. What is it?
 
First of all, sin is a choice that you and I make. Sin occurs when we
choose to turn away from God's plan and purpose for our life.
 
Following Jesus is also a choice you and I can make. When we follow Jesus,
God's Spirit empowers us to resist the entanglements of sinful behavior and
choose God's way of righteousness.
 
Turning ever so slightly in God's direction is the first step. You can
choose to turn toward Him right now! Tell Him that you are available to
meet Him today. He will run and greet you with His loving embrace. God
desires more than anything to have an intimate relationship with you.
 
"Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily
entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."

There we were, Brian Fahey and I, packed and ready to depart from Ontario,
California to Oklahoma City to go investigate this building that seemed to
be headed in the wrong direction. As we arrived at the building we began to
see the people around it needing help. It was as if there was this group of
people that the city just wished would disappear. And as we began talking
with the people and hearing their hearts and needs, we would simply begin to
ask if we could pray for them. As we did it seemed like not only did they
want us to pray for them, but they were very much in agreement that the LORD
could help them. It was there that the LORD began to stir in our hearts a
need to set up a place where we could help. It was during that time that the
LORD began to make it clear that He was calling us to go minister the gospel
of peace and hope to them. During this stretch of God opening doors, we
began to see the LORD direct us to people who wanted to be a part of it.
Door after door would begin to open. We met people in the community from
city leaders, pastors, developers, executives, handy men, college students,
musicians, and many other servants who just wanted to see the LORD make an
impact down in the city.
Each day the LORD would begin to increase our love for the people. Our love
grew to pray with prostitutes and to show them the love of Christ rather
than what this world has offered them up to this point. Our love grew for
the gang bangers who were scared and frightened as the night before they saw
a friend of theirs get gunned down. We began to love the guys who were
strung out on crack and prayed for them and saw their desire to come out of
the drugs. Our love began to increase for a father who we got to pray with
who was with his 5 year old daughter. We found out that they had been
homeless for a week and were in the beginnings of a difficult life. It
appeared that they knew no one who could help them.
It was there that we began to feel the conviction of the LORD to leave our
comforts in California and come to Oklahoma City to a people so desperate
for the grace of Christ Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. It was there
that verses became so real; verses such as Zachariah 7 and Matthew 28. It
was there that we saw the book of Acts come to life and began to see what
the LORD had instructed His disciples to go do.
As the months have passed it seems like an army of warriors have been
stirred up and many have come forward to say that they would like to help
financially through their financial resources or donations, physically
through their gifts and talents that God has given them, and spiritually
through prayer. I would pray that God would not necessarily impress on your
heart to give to our ministry, but to ask Him what is your part in the
picture of loving the LORD your God will all of your heart, mind, soul, and
strength, and to love others as yourself. If that involves being a part of
this ministry, awesome. If that means that you actively seek your part in
the kingdom right where He has you, even better.

Big Time residual INCOME is not in prospecting and recruiting. It's in

Are you a lighthouse or a searchlight?
Most networkers are like volunteer searchers out on a stormy sea in a little
rowboat with just a AA battery flashlight, a weak searchlight, looking for
'financially drowning' prospects who are lost at sea. They shine their
flashlights around, lighting up the three square feet in front of the boat,
desperately looking for a nearby prospect that they luckily stumble upon,
pull into the boat, and row back to shore. Then they wear themselves out
rowing back to shore with twice the weight. Then it's back out to sea to
look for another drowning prospect. Rinse and repeat over and over and they
paste a smile on their face to cover the grimace... Compare that to the efficiency of a lighthouse. The Lighthouse is different
than a search light. The Lighthouse doesn't chase, it attracts. On the
stormiest of nights it just sits safely and comfortably on the shoreline and
shines a powerful beam of light miles out to sea. It doesn't sweat and toil.
The beam of light does all the work. Thousands of ships find safe harbor by
following the powerful beam of light without the lighthouse moving an inch,
or lifting a finger. No searching, no rowing back and forth all day and
night. No little AA flashlight. No aching back and worn out muscles. Just
