A pound of fragrant oil

Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus was, the one Jesus had raised from the dead. So they gave a dinner for Him there; Martha was serving them, and Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him. Then Mary took a pound of fragrant oil—pure and expensive nard—anointed Jesus' feet, and wiped His feet with her hair. So the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

Father, glorify Your name.

Jesus is first.  I am second.

Men's Wildlife Supper at Community Bible Church in Beaufort, South Carolina

Governor Mike Huckabee was the guest speaker at tonight's event. Wild
boar, alligator, and other South Carolina delicacies were on the menu.
My favorite was the banana pudding.
 
Governor Huckabee shared his faith in Jesus and encouraged all of the
men in attendance to consider the implications of what Jesus did for
us on the cross over 2000 years ago. Our sins are pardoned by the
sacrifice that Jesus made for us.
 
My brother Len Stubbs and I enjoyed our time together. We hope that we
honor our heavenly Father in everything we say and do.
